Sweet and sour peppers are a classic of traditional Sicilian cuisine. On the one hand the peppers, with their strong and unmistakable taste; on the other hand the sweet and sour sauce, able to enhance even more every ingredient to which it is combined. They can be served as an appetizer on crispy croutons or as an accompaniment to meat and fish dishes. Our suggestion is to use only red and green peperoni for this recipe, and avoid using the green peperoni!
