The Sicilian Wanderer in Borgo Parrini: A Gaudí inspired village in Sicily | Video

Just 30km away from Palermo, Borgo Parrini has been one of the most visited places in Sicily in recent years. Founded by the Jesuits some centuries ago (“Parrini” means priests in Sicilian), the village was brought to new life by Giuseppe Gaglio, the visionary owner of the place.

Gaglio decided to take inspiration from the art of Antoni Gaudí and created a unique place that preserved the traditional traits, while adding new vibrant colours to the village Visitors will be happy to know that despite the small size of the village, it’s possible to make a culinary stop in the many pizzerie and bakeries in the area. Proper, traditional, authentic Sicilian food.
