The first 3 words came easy the second because

Hi, I read your comment and hope you’re ok with my explanation why you say that the R is silent. I think the way we say or pronounce the words depends from what part of Sicily you come from. I think the written frase above is written in Palermitano, that’s how they would say that phrase in the province of Palermo. From the province of Trapani, which is where I was born (I reside in Canada now) we Trapanesi would say it like this “Nuddu si piggia si un si assimiggia”. I don’t know your story of your roots but I thought maybe you or your family might be from the province of Trapani. I hope you don’t mind this, but I found your comment like something I would have said, silent or no R so I thought why not give her my heartfelt opinion.
OMG I just realized I misspelled the phrase correction ” Nuddu si pigghia si un si assimiggia”. Trapanesi version.š
