Fried bread with sugar
Course: DessertDifficulty: Easy4
servingsIngredients
Sliced stale bread
Milk 200ml
Eggs 4
EVO Oil
Sugar
Directions
- Use stale bread from a few days, mind you, it should not be too hard! Cut it into thick slices.
- Meanwhile, beat the eggs in a bowl and pour the milk into another bowl.
- Take a slice of bread and soak it first in the milk, very lightly on both sides and immediately after soaking it in the egg. Continue the process for all the slices.
- Heat the olive oil on the stove and when hot enough, begin to lay the bread slices on the pan.
- Fry the bread slices on both sides and as soon as they are slightly browned (almost golden!), move them carefully to absorbent paper and immediately turn them in the sugar.
- Eat them piping hot and enjoy!!
