To make Capers Pate it is necessary, first, to desalinate the capers by soaking them in water and changing it several times (two or three times at least).

Once the capers have been desalted, we need to dry them and put them in a blender together with the oil and chili pepper.
At this point we blend everything until we get a creamy pesto and if necessary we can add more oil.

When finished, we fill the jars with the mixture and cover the same with a layer of oil: this will serve to make the pate last a long time once opened. It is advisable to store in the refrigerator.
