Ingredients
-
4 OrangesMedium sized, preferibly Sicilian!
-
1 Lemon
-
250 gr AlmondsPeeled
-
100 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil
-
60 gr Capers
Directions
Citrus fruits are one of the main symbols of Sicilian taste, with vibrant colours and intense scents that always remind us of our beautiful island. In fact, every characteristic of this simple recipe, from the scents to the colours, will bring you back to Sicily with your heart and mind! You can modify some of the ingredients of the basic recipe of this sicilian citrus pesto to obtain other delicious variations such as, for example, the addition of basil, capers or sun-dried tomatoes!
Our suggestion is to use this for fresh pasta or for risotto (maybe top it with some crushed pistachios on top!) or even with a bruschetta!
Steps

Prepare all the ingredients by cutting the oranges and lemon coarsely, put them in a mix and chop well. If you want to smell the lemon a bit more you can add another lemon. |

Chop everything in the mixer, until it is not too fine, but slightly grainy! |

Hello, congrats on the blog, I´m from Brazil! I have one question: oranges and lemon go into the mixer in pieces, with seeds and peels on?
