Santa Lucia and Arancine in London with The Good Rice

For a Sicilian immigrant (especially if from Palermo!) there’s only one way to celebrate Santa Lucia (St. Lucy’s feast) and that is by eating loads of Arancine. There’s no way that a Sicilian will not celebrate, even if far from his/her family, they’ll always find a way to eat Arancine and Cuccia.

This year, if you live in London, we are happy to let you know that Michele Barbera and his team at The Good Rice (London at 98 ROBERT STREET NW1 3QP) will serve all day long Arancine, cuccia with chocolate and ricotta, chickpeas fitters “nu cuoppo” and much more…

We interviewed Michele not so long ago, and we tried first hand the quality of his Sicilian dishes – they’re simply amazing. If you are interested in tasting some authentic Sicilian food, then you should definitely pay them a visit while in London; you’ll not be disappointed!
